Our philosophy

Don’t settle for what you’re given.

Take the freedom to get what you need. That is why FetchJ exists.

From the creator

FetchJ was born of a simple annoyance: a portal that makes everyone work the same way, although nobody works alike. I told myself: it doesn’t have to be like this.

In life we accept many things just as they come. It isn’t always necessary. That is why I stand behind FetchJ with my name: tell me what you need, and I will do my best to help you get it.

— Erwin Tschirk, creator of FetchJ

Flexible on purpose

FetchJ adapts to you – not you to the portal

The settings offer many options. It may look like a lot, and that is on purpose: every lawyer works differently.

Works without touching anything

From day one, with defaults that suit most people. You don’t have to change a thing.

Your way, if you like

Which cases, from which date, how files are named, where they are kept, what you see first: you decide.

Grows with your ideas

What you miss today may be in the next version. Tell us.

“The portal doesn’t decide how you work.”

“What you want is the starting point.”

“We sow today what others will harvest tomorrow.”

Your opinion counts

Your idea makes FetchJ better

Suggestions, wishes, criticism: we don’t just accept them, we ask for them. Many features of FetchJ came from what lawyers told us during testing.

Half of the profit, for the future

For us the future is children and young people. That is why we will give 50 % of FetchJ’s profit, after taxes, to organisations working for their education and development.

We don’t want to tell them what to do. We want to help them find out what they want and find their own way to get there.

  • Recognised organisations for the education and development of children and young people.
  • A public report once a year: how much, to whom and with what result.
